Johansson's skincare line is all organic. "It's really connected with people," Johansson says to TODAY. "Our products, we make them as user friendly as possible and try to eliminate as many harmful ingredients, so that as many people can use them. Johansson talked about her skincare routine to TODAY. She says that keeping her skin moisturized is important. "What actually got me out of that decade cycle, was [saying] OK, I'm just gonna stop everything, I'm going to stop all the actives and I'm just going to gently exfoliate my skin and moisturize every day," Johansson said. "And I realized actually putting moisture back into my skin was what it needed, because my skin barrier was so imbalanced."
Johansson has a busy schedule. However, she always makes time for herself. "I've recently made a commitment to myself to spend more time seeing my friends," she says to Oprah Daily. "I can get very swept away with work and motherhood and family, but a big part of my mental wellness is just spending quality time with my girlfriends. That time with them is soul food."
Johansson has two children, and she wants to encourage them. She opened up about this to Oprah Daily. "With or without social media, kids can be cruel, and I think every parent worries about how their child's ego is going to be affected by the outside world. I've been very conscious about not using certain words at home that feel degrading to myself in front of my kids, which is hard to do, but I'm very mindful about that and it makes a difference. It really starts at home with me."
