Stephen Farrelly, an Irish-born wrestling superstar, is famous by his ring name ‘Sheamus’ in WWE. This colossal wrestler is one of the greatest heels in the twenty-first century WWE. He has put his name into that list of superstars who were able to snatch the WWE Championship away from the hands of the company’s then babyface John Cena. He achieves this feat when he dismantles John Cena in the 2009 TLC pay-per-view.

The superstar has been absent from WWE in recent times. Many speculating his retirement. But a broken neck of him compels him to stay out of action. However, he has worked on many television shows and films also. In the same year, Sheamus played the role of ‘Celtic warrior’ in an Irish horror film Assault of Darkness. His acting career took a halt for some years, only to see him return in 2016 when he gave a voice to his own animated version in the film ‘Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon‘. The same he had done in an animated movie ‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!‘.

In 2019, Sheamus worked in several movies such as ‘Fighting with My Family‘, ‘The Buddy Games‘, ‘Atone’. In 2020, he was featured in an American sports comedy film ‘The Main Event‘. This was his last film to be released. Rumors are indicating his involvement in other movies which are yet to come out.
