Spoilers for the Next Chapter
We will finally get to witness Jin compete in the tournament in the upcoming chapter of “Swordmaster’s Youngest Son,” since his day for an opponent has finally arrived. Although it seems unlikely that Dante will immediately discover Jin’s identity, there will be some buildup to the moment. The attention that Jin will receive from his struggle could be harmful to him.
Recap of the Previous Chapter
Jin is in the “Cosmos Competitive Arena,” an annual martial arts competition hosted in one of the Bellahew Archipelago’s Northern Islands. The family’s patriarch also sent Veradin Ziple there. The Elder informed Veradin that Dante Hairan, the future head of the Hairan family, would take part in the competition this year. Veradin is instructed by the Elder to visit the island and see the Hairan battle.
When Jin sees a few individuals creeping up behind Hairan, he strikes out and kills them all. Everyone appeared to have mistaken Dante for a Runecandel and intended to murder him. Dante thanks Jin for saving him as he awakens and promises to assist Jin whenever he is in danger. Jin nods off as soon as Dante finishes talking and starts maintaining watch. Dante is relieved to have found a trustworthy companion in such a place.
