What is the Flame Cleanse Me Incantation in Elden Ring?

Flame Cleanse Me is a fire-based incantation in Elden Ring. The incantation allows the players to cleanse themselves from any and all toxins in the game. However, the character will suffer subtle burns in the process. These burns are generally negligible but noteworthy.

When a player uses the Flame Cleanse Me incantation, they remove any Scarlet Rot, Frostbite, and Poison Status Effects. These status effects can instantly kill the player if allowed to build up. Additionally, the incantation can relieve the player of any Poison, Frostbite, or Scarlet Rot build-up before it reaches the Maximum Status effect.

Like most other incantations, Flame Cleanse Me requires the player to have certain stats to equip and use the incantation. The incantation requires a minimum of 12 Faith to equip and use. Flame Cleanse Me consumes 14 FP and 10 Stamina when used.

There are certain locations in Elden Ring where having the Flame Cleanse Me incantation can give the player a huge advantage. Some of these locations are Caelid and the Lake of Rot. In both of these locations, players are highly vulnerable to the Scarlet Rot Status Effect.

Where to find the Flame Cleanse Me Incantation?

The Flame Cleanse Me Incantation in the Eastern area of Liurnia of the Lakes. A dead corpse in the Fire Monk Cap, located next to the Church of Vows, contains the incantation.

The Fire Monk camp is guarded by multiple Fire Monk enemies. They surround the corpse and protect the incantation. The players will have to be careful when trying to acquire the incantation as the Fire Monk enemies can cause a great amount of damage with a single attack.

The closest Site of Grace to the Fire Monk camp is located on the Eastern Tableland. Players are advised to visit this Site of Grace so that they don’t have to travel a long way in case they die and fail to acquire the incantation on the first try.
