Dont worry about me, 50-year-old star seemingly confirms his WWE departure after rumors cir
MVP, the former United States Champion, has been absent from WWE since he accompanied Omos at the Royal Rumble PLE earlier this year. He gave updates on his whereabouts amidst the hiatus and even gave fans some hope of returning for one final run. However, that doesn’t seem possible after recent reports.
The social media account PW Nexus shared the news that WWE stars Tamina, MVP, and Bobby Lashley were not part of its internal roster. After receiving a lot of love following the shocking news, the 50-year-old veteran sent a message to his fans on Instagram, along with his son. He stated that he was overwhelmed by the love he received from fans and assured them that everything was fine on his end.
Amidst the hiatus, he traveled to Cancun for stem cell recovery and decided to train hard a few months ago. Moreover, MVP recently shared good news with his fans: he achieved a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He even expressed his desire to participate in different tournaments from now on. This makes perfect sense, considering his departure from WWE.
It's a loving Sunday. I am here with my little dude... we are here at Fury Fighting Championship in Houston. I am in best of spirits, I love all of you. Don't worry about me, I am just fine.MVP on Instagram
During his second run with the Stamford-based company, a golden period came when he was part of the Hurt Business faction. The group had so much potential, as every member held titles at one point. However, they soon disbanded, and Triple H expressed no desire to reunite them. The former U.S. Champion made a significant claim that The Hurt Business was supposed to achieve the success that The Bloodline did. Sadly, the majority of the members are now out of the company.
MVP and injured star Big E expressed their emotions after hearing the news of the departure of Bobby Lashley
In a shocking update, Bobby Lashley was also not included in WWE’s internal roster along with MVP. Many fans weren’t happy with the decision and sent wholesome messages to the legendary Lashley. The former WWE Champion, Big E, also reacted to the news on social media.
The New Day member took to X and bestowed several titles upon him, calling him a monster and a specimen. He also described him as a professional human being and a gentleman. MVP shared Big E’s sentiments and reposted his message on his account. Lashley was removed from the King of the Ring tournament due to an undisclosed injury and was replaced by Angelo Dawkins.

He last faced Karrion Kross in a Dark Street Fight and defeated him on the April 19 episode of SmackDown. Some sources reported that his contract might expire in a few weeks. During his second WWE run, he won the WWE Championship and the United States Championship. Moreover, he also won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last year.
